We celebrate the World Milk Day

The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations established in 2001 the World Milk Day, to highlight the importance of milk as a global food. Since then, the World Milk Day is celebrated each year on June 1 to promote the benefits of milk and dairy products and also to recognize how dairy supports livelihoods of one billion people.

This year 2023, the Day celebrates how the sector is reducing the environmental footprint and at the same time is providing nutritious foods and livelihoods.

The Ceva ruminant team supports the World Milk Day contributing with our daily work around the world to help veterinarians and farmers reduce the environmental footprint of dairy farms. Whether by securing the health and welfare of animals, providing expertise in reproduction and solutions to secure the birth of healthy calves. Also promoting a prudent use of antibiotics and parasiticides, supporting with innovative eco-friendly technology like CLAS vials, and providing training and technical support.
